Three Yin Meeting
Location
3 cun directly above the tip of the medial malleolus, on the posterior border of the medial aspect of the tibia.
Indications
PMS, Abdominal Pain - Fu Tong and distension, Impotence - Yang Wei, borborygmus, Diarrhea - Xie Xie, various female disorders, Infertility, delayed labour, nocturnal emission, Enuresis - Yi Niao, dysuria, edema, hernia, genital pain, Dizziness, Vertigo - Xuan Yun, Insomnia - Bu Mei and muscular atrophy.
Actions
Strengthens the Spleen, resolves Dampness, promotes the function of the Liver and smooth flow of Liver Qi, tonifies the Kidney, nourishes the Blood and Yin, beneftis urination, regulates uterus and menstruation, moves and cools the Blood and eliminates Blood Stasis, stops pain and calms the Shen.
Contraindications
Contraindicated in pregnancy.
