Definition

Causes and Pathological Mechanisms
- Kidney Qi Deficiency
- Blood Deficiency
- Blood Cold
- Blood Stasis
- Leading to deficiency in Essence and Blood and lack of Qi and Blood in Chong Ren, or blockage by cold and Blood Stasis, qi and blood movement impeded in Chong Ren

- Symptoms: Scant menstruation, cleared in less than 2 days or even just a few drops, dull and pale colour, thin quality, achy lower back and weak legs, dizziness, tinnitus and frequent urination.
- Tongue: Pale tongue with thin coating
- Pulse: Deep and Thready
- Treatment strategy: Tonify kidney, replenish essence, nourish blood to regulate menstruation
- Formula: Dang Gui Di Huang Yin
- Acupoints:
