Qi and Blood Deficiency

  • Symptoms: Lack of milk or even no milk, clear and thin, soft and empty breasts with no feeling of fullness, tired shen, poor appetite and a pale face.
  • Tongue: Pale tongue with little coating
  • Pulse: Thready and Weak
  • Treatment strategy: Tonify qi and nourish blood with assistance to drain milk

Liver Qi Stagnation

  • Symptoms: Lack of milk or even no milk, thick and sticky, distending and hard breasts with pain, depressed, chest and hypochondriac distension, poor appetite and a low fever.
  • Tongue: Normal tongue with thin yellow coating
  • Pulse: Wiry and Thready or Rapid
  • Treatment strategy: Soothe liver and relieve stagnation, activate luo and drain milk
