Professor Shi is perhaps most well known for his development of Xing Nao Kai Qiao (Awaken the Mind and Open the Orifices) protocol; it is highly efficacious for the treatment of apoplexy patients. Xing Nao Kai Qiao has been developed for over thirty years; its effectiveness has been demonstrated through continual research and clinical practice.
