Treatment of Eczema and Chronic Cough in Children with Laser Acupuncture
There is a new generation of children rising whose mothers have done everything in their power to shield them from pain. Rather than train them to endure the pain and suffering that they will inevitably meet later in life, they hope against hope that their precious children will never have to experience pain.
This make life difficult for the acupuncturist, and it means that one has to look for new, pain free methods of treatment if one is to help this new generation.
Laser treatment of acupuncture points is one such method, and it can be very effective. We will discuss how it differs from needling or using moxa on points, and when to use one rather than another. We will focus on treating eczema by way of an example, and we will also talk about the laser 'shower' which can be thought of as the acupuncture 'cortisone cream' because of its effectiveness, though without any of the side effects of cortisone.
We will show how lasers are not so good for the stronger children with the accumulation disorder, but very good indeed for the children with weak spleen qi.
Part of the talk will be devoted to practical aspects - dosage, safety, how to choose equipment.
In both English and German.
