Wenlin is a must for word by word translation and learning. It easily goes between English to Chinese and Chinese to English. Iflash is just a small "flash card" program. QIM is a little input method, better than the built in OS X one on Mac. What we don't have is a machine language full page translator. Mac users have to use the Babel website for that.
Wenlin is more than a hundred dollars but well worth it. The others are free or minimal cost.

Ah, interesting. This will make my transition to Mac much easier. The built in Mac input method uses pinyin, I presume?
