Hello and welcome to the new CMTpedia forum!
Chinese Medicine Times is pleased to announce the latest addition to its network, an online encyclopedia for Chinese medicine and acupuncture. We’ve called it CMTpedia.
The aim of CMTpedia is to become an open source of information available to practitioners, students, colleges, universities and the general public.
Using the internet’s favorite software, wiki, all information is added by you, the user. This creates a dynamic, rich source of global information available to anyone that wants it.
Anyone can view CMTpedia pages, but only registered healthcare professionals can add content and edit pages.
By using the 'what links here' function, you can retrieve information on a number of topics, for example, if you wanted to see what diseases Liver Qi Stagnation is associated with, click on that page's 'what links here (http://www.chinesemedicinetimes.com/wiki/Special:Whatlinkshere/Liver_Qi_Stagnation) Or if you wanted to see what can be treated using the formula Gui Pi Tang, click on that page's 'what links here' (http://www.chinesemedicinetimes.com/wiki/Special:Whatlinkshere/Gui_Pi_Tang)
Once information has been added for individual herbs and acupoints, similar data can be extracted.
Have a look and see what you can add: http://www.chinesemedicinetimes.com/wiki/CMTpedia
This forum offers users the use of rich text formatting, emotion icons, advanced search options, avatars, calendar, attachment uploads and lots more! Rather than messages being emailed to individual members, you'll be able to view them via the forum's website, which means messages won’t be clogging up your inbox.
This forum can be converted in UK English, US English and Chinese CN.
